I would love the AAirpass offered by American Airlines. It affords you to purchase miles upfront similar to a debit card. Miles are then deducted from your account when you travel. You can even share! How easy is that?

My summer splurge is only indulgent in terms of calories. I love, love, love Black Dog Gelato. It’s made by a local Chicagoan named Jessie Oloroso who concocts the most amazing flavors like strawberry balsamic and whiskey (trust me, it’s good) and great sorbets (brown butter pear, red plum moscato) for when I’m trying to be a little better. Black Dog is sold at multiple locations, but I usually get mine at Piccolo in the Ukrainian Village or Cipollina in Wicker Park.

Spoiling myself with the signature Purifying Diamonds Massage at the Spa at Trump is my idea of the perfect summer splurge. The oils used in this luxurious 90 minute massage are infused with the benefits of diamonds to provide clarity, inspiration and enlightenment. After all, diamonds are a girl’s best friend. $300
